RESEARCH
-
Currently, my area of research interest is in Statistical Genetics.
The goal of the research groups I am working with is to identify genes susceptible
to complex human diseases (such as Alzheimer's disease, autistic disorder, or cardio-vascular diseases).
To accomplish this goal there is a need for statistical analyses and for developing new more powerful statistical methods.
In particular, I am interested in applications of Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods in Genetic Epidemiology and Computational Biology.
