Introductory Physical Chemistry Lab Videos
Laura R. McCunnDr. McCunn's Introductory Physical Chemistry class recently studied kinetics by conducting iodine clock reactions. Students attempted to set the clock reactions to music by varying the concentrations of the reactants. These demonstrations could be easily adapted for use in high school classrooms, as all the reagents are available in grocery or drug stores.
The videos listed below can be opened with QuickTime Player. Teachers who are interested in adapting the iodine clock reactions for their classrooms should contact Dr. Laura McCunn.
