Introductory Physics (211), 2010 Fall Class Meets MWF in Sci.277 , from 11 till 11:50 , and M from 12 till 12:50 ... my office is Sci.159 Quiz 8 - on Topic 10 - will be Friday Dec.03Exam 4 - on Topics 10 & 11 - will be Tuesday Dec.14 at 10:15 (Finals week)Exam 4 should take about an hour . . . after turning in Exam 4 ,you'll have the option to choose any of 3 pages on old material (Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3) . . . each "old material" page that you do will be graded out of 12 points , and that score will be averaged into that Unit's Exam score . for example, 50% on Exam 2 ... 20/40 ... could become 32/52 = 62% , => 24.6/40 in my gradebook's Exam 2 column. . . . (with 324 points total possible this semester, that would improve the course average by 1.43% ... about 1/7 of a letter grade .) Unit 4 homework will be graded via mu-online (WebCT)
